'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,
with all your soul, and with all your mind'
"This is the first and great commandment.
"And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as
yourself.' Matthew 22:37-39
Recently i was reminded of God's two most important
commandments rather often. In a way, i feel that God
wants me to remind the people around me, including myself, that
we have not been living God's word out.
I believe that these two commandments are the roots of being more
Christ-like and to walk closer with God each day.
The love we have for our Lord Jesus will prompt us to seek
after Him and yearn for Him. I guess that's when we truly
find God and be immersed in His love and grace. That's when
we feel grateful for His grace and live our lives for Him.
Live it as if it is the last for Him.
Very often people say they wanna be more Christ-like, yet
they fail to follow the second most important commandment.
Have we been forgiving each other and truly love each other
as ourselves?
Isn't Jesus, our perfect role model, has already shown as what
is it to love our neighbors? Didnt we want to become more
like Jesus Christ? Then why aren't we loving our
neighbors or are we even trying to? By neighbors i don mean
the people living next door.
It's really time to live out God's commandments(:
Have been reading uncle david's book "How to hear from God" and
i felt that God has spoken to me through that book!
Right now, i just have to apply it and i thank God for giving
several opportunities to put my knowledge into application!:D
and oh dear, i'm beginning to feel pressurized as the holi is
ending soon!! Hai still have a lot of work to be done an topics
to be revised and newspapers to be read! Never ending list man!
Starting to worry about the day i collect my A levels result but
well no point fretting over it. Live this day as if it is your last!
